Fujifilm FinePix F600EXR is the ultimate travel companion

FUJIFILM Corporation (President and CEO: Shigetaka Komori) is proud to announce the launch of the FinePix F600 EXR — a model that defines new picture-taking possibilities for a compact camera. It has a database of around a million locations, which you can edit, that are displayed as a layer on the 3-inch 460k LCD screen. Despite being no bigger than the Fujifilm FinePix F550EXR, the Fujifilm FinePix F600EXR camera boasts exciting new imaging technologies that improve the user experience and make it the ideal digital camera for photographers who like to travel, as well as those who simply want high quality photo results from a digital camera that fits into a pocket.

The key new feature on this camera, which will go up against similar super compacts such as the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ20 and the Canon PowerShot SX230 HS, is its Augmented Reality capabilities which give the user a landmark navigation system making it easier to find those points of interest when out and about.
There’s also 1080p movie capture, a 12,800 ISO high-sensitivity mode, sensor-shift image stabilization, and a 24-360mm lens with an f/3.5 maximum aperture and The Fujifilm FinePix F600EX will be available in red, black and white at the end of October for $349.
